Utility tunnel and roadway for initialization section at Shenzhen Airport New Area　

Built by CISDI on an EPC basis, covering 19 urban roads, 8 of which are set with utility tunnels, totaling a length of about 16.642km

A specialized design for addressing the existing problems in utility tunnels:

Put the whole drain line into the utility tunnel by butting the crossings of tunnel with drain cabins, an integrated way for drain pipeline network arrangements, and dredging through inside the tunnel

Create the first tunnel-integrated scale drain project for tackling the conventional inconvenient operation by means of embedded drain piping and locally integrating with the tunnel

Use the horizontal or vertical pipe jacking way to avoid sections where excavations are not allowed; use framing construction and asymmetrical piles to cater for narrow roads; alleviating influences on ground traffic

Apply an intelligent control system for the pipe tunnel’s online centralized monitor and operations management, based on a unified information management platform, GIS and automatic patrol robot

Complete a fast construction of the utility tunnel’s main body by a prefabricated assembly method, reducing impacts on ground traffic
