A Message to Customers and Partners during the COVID-19 Outbreak

Distinguished customers and partners,

Dear friends,

We thank you for your consistent support and kindness.

The COVID-19 outbreak in China during the Chinese Spring Festival holiday has spread across China and outside China. The World Health Organization (WHO) announced it a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on January 30th, 2020. The Chinese government at various levels have launched grade-I emergency response measures against the COVID-19. The lives and health of all is the government’s top priority. Staff have been required to delay their return to the office following the holiday and transportation has been rationally limited.

At this critical time of epidemic prevention and control, CISDI has put in place new working arrangements to mitigate delays and ensure project schedules. All CISDI subsidiaries and departments inside China will operate from home utilizing online office, cloud conference, video conference, telephone and email systems to maintain internal and external communications, continue engineering activities and to communicate decisions. Our global offices in the UK, USA, Germany, India, Vietnam, Malaysia and Brazil continue support for our international customers.

In face of the very “novel” event and its unknown duration, we will make joint and continuous assessment with our suppliers, subcontractors, customers and partners on this Force Majeure’s specific influences on our various projects. We will formulate plans and measures to mitigate the impact and keep all the concerned parties informed.   

We understand there may be many questions and issues at this time and our Project Managers and liaisons remain available to answer these and keep you up to date.
