A joint charging trial was successfully performed at the Caofeidian International Ore Trading Centre in China.

Caofeidian ore port’s stockyard and Phase One are being constructed by CISDI to an EPC contract.

The stockyard successfully carried out its first reclaiming and stacking operation. The 180 tonnes of Brazil powder was blended and batched by the bins and stored at the blending yard.

Once completed, the ore trading centre, based in Tangshan City in China’s Hebei Province, will have an ore blending, proportioning and trading capacity of 100 million tonnes.

Eco-friendly, highly efficient and fully functional, it will play a significant role in transforming the way Chinese steel enterprises import and trade ore, and will optimise the country’s iron ore trading market.
