Switch-on for Meishan Steel BOF dedusting

Three CISDI-supplied HV frequency converters are now operating for the primary dedusting system of Meishan Steel’s three basic oxygen furnaces.

CISDI package-supplied the three MVC1200-06k/380 HV frequency converters, which match 6kV/2800kW load motors and a nominal output current of 380A.

Each BOF has a capacity of 150 tonnes.

CISDI Group has now supplied a total of 17 MVC1200-series HV converters to Meishan Steel. There are around 100 references for the BOF dedusting process, proof of CISDI’s expertise in highly-reliable critical speed regulation.
