CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co has commenced the construction of three reheating furnaces for a hot strip rolling line (1,780mm specification) in Vietnam.

The project is being carried out at the Dung Quat Plant, which operates under the Hoa Phat Group, and CISDI Thermal is the project’s EPC-based service provider.

Each furnace will be of walking-beam type and will achieve an hourly output of 380 tonnes.

World-class levels of lower energy consumption, loss of ignition (LOI) and reduced NOx emissions will be achieved with the application of a number of patented technologies, including:

          green, low-carbon dual regenerative combustion

fully automatic burning with a math model and by enabling automatic optimisation of air to fuel ratio.
