An ore fine blending yard is being built by CISDI at Zhenjiang Port in China’s Jiangsu Province.

The EPC contract includes blending, reclaiming, sampling, power supply, drive and control facilities.

Built at the existing wharf and stockyard at Zhenjiang Port, the blending and processing line will feature two dual-bucket-wheel blending reclaimers at the fine blending yard.

They will crop all layers of raw materials simultaneously and in a direction perpendicular to them. This multi-layer reclaiming tech will achieve a higher quality of final blended product.

To produce standardised and tailored blended ores, CISDI will apply an integrated solution, consisting of the raw material charging and blending and product discharging facilities, the ore proportioning and multi-layer reclaiming process, and the automatic batching and piling expertise.

The creation of Zhenjiang Port’s fine blending yard follows on from CISDI’s previous successful projects at Minmetals Caofeidian and Baowu Jingcheng Majishan ports.

These green, smart and multi-functional trading centres have been running since 2020 and 2023 respectively.
