CISDI’s POC gas holder is getting results for Yunnan

A new blast furnace gas holder at Xianfu Steel in China’s Yunnan Province, is hitting stable equipment and technical indicators. 

The 200,000 cubic-metre gas holder features CISDI’s innovative piston, oil seal and cylindrical shell (POC). 

It enables gas to be stored at a high, yet slightly-variable, pressure, its steadily-running piston reduces holder equipment maintenance and the gas recycling rate is increased.
