Two scrap–crushing lines are to be built at Yieh United Steel in Taiwan.

As the package supplier, CISDI is tasked with their process, civil construction designs and equipment supply.

Each line will crush 500,000 tonnes of scrap per year.

CISDI has long been focussed on research and development for the scrap treatment sector.

Its breakthroughs have solved a number of mechanical and intelligent manufacturing difficulties and its total solutions for smart scrap treatment are creating a smarter, greener, more efficient and economical sector.

A large quantity of data collected by CISDI while optimising similar plants will be utilised for the development at Yieh United.

“We are impressed by CISDI’s solid technical strength and its advanced solutions,” said a spokesperson.

“It is committed to creating value for its customers and is worthy of the trust we have placed in it with this contract.”

As CISDI was unable to travel to Taiwan during the pandemic, teams worked through technical questions via a series of video meetings.
