Powering on: 110kV substation for Anyang Steel’s Zhoukou excess heat recovery system

Date:2023/2/22 Source: CISDI

A 110kV substation at Anyang Steels Zhoukou plant is now receiving power.

It is part of a power generation plant project which is using excess heat recovery from a clean and eco-friendly coke oven and its relative coke dry quenching system.

CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co has built the following to an EPC mode:

ü  Four 65MW high-temperature, ultra-high-pressure excess heat power generation units

ü  Eight high-temperature, ultra-high-pressure heat recovery steam generators (boilers)

ü  Four 65MW intermediate primary reheating condensing steam turbines

ü  Four 75MW power generation units, 110kV substations and auxiliary equipment.

The oven, designed to produce 1.68 million tonnes of cokes a year, has energy conservation, emissions reduction and intelligent stamp-charging features.

When the entire coke oven and excess heat recovery and fume deNOx and deSOx project becomes operational, it will further reduce heat loss throughout the process, conserving energy and creating a cleaner environment.
