CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co has transformed a reheating furnace to green and energy-efficient standards in China’s Sichuan Province.
Pangang Xichang Steel & Vanadium Co’s furnace 1 serves a 2,250mm-specification hot strip rolling line.
It has been rebuilt to an EPC mode, with a wealth of CISDI’s leading developments for reducing energy consumption and emissions, including:
⬧ Advanced, reliable automation control and energy conservation and environmental protection technologies
⬧ Patented regenerative distributed switching control strategy
⬧ Furnace temperature zoning control for uniformity
⬧ The CISDI Furwise 4.0 smart industrial heating system.
The environment-friendly furnace makes full use of low-thermal-value fuel gas while effectively recovering waste gas’s sensible heat. These measures have led to lower unit consumption during production and have reduced NOx and other pollutant emissions.
The furnace, which went operational just 20 days after its drying-off, ranks as China’s leading strip reheating furnace in terms of workpiece quality, energy consumption and environmental indicators.
High-quality strip is discharged from Pangang Xichang Steel & Vanadium’s green reheating furnace 1
